This song is Roger Waters wishing for the company
of his old friend Syd Barrett, founder of Pink Floyd.
Syd suffered from Schizophrenia and left the band
before they made it big.

Waters credits much of the bands success to the
inspiration of Syd. Syd died in 2006.

David Bowie has often said that Syd Barret is one of the main reasons that he became a singer, so here he is performing with David Gilmour & Rick Wright the first Pink Floyd single "Arnold Layne."
