I thought of this thread this morning as I was getting in the shower. Finally got those flip flop tan lines...I LOOOOOVE those!
I had to do a lot of reading to catch up on all I missed....I've never gotten into gardening, but I'm moving into an awesome new place this summer and I cannot wait to give it a go. I love learning new things and experimenting.
I love decorating. Cannot wait to decorate the new place!
I love fires and cook outs, party at my place!
I love rollercoasters and anything spinny and crazy...I'm an adrenaline junkie. Got our first ever season passes to Darien Lake this year, went this past weekend it was so fun!
I love fond memories of friends family old pets childhood etc. The gardening everyone was talking about, especially vegetables, reminded me of one of my favorite memories...my grandpa, who is now deceased, was my hero as a little girl. He had a vegetable garden in the backyard, my grandma had her flower garden in the front (it was cute how they each had their own)...I use to love keeping grandpa company or helping, this was when I was about 5. I remember we use to have "cucumber growing races"...we each planted one and whomever's grew the biggest the fastest won. I always won and I was so happy. I didn't find out until I was 19, and he passed away, that he wouldn't water his cucumber for days but would only water mine while I was at school and this is how I won. Ugh tears in my eyes. I've worked at a nursing home for years and I know how it goes, I'm glad he isn't suffering anymore, but even though it's been years it'll never change the fact that I miss him. I wish he could see my kids now, he would be so proud.
I love being a mom. I think I mentioned this earlier, though it comes to mind as last night we had baseball and tball games, and my son's baseball team won their first game yay! Omg it was so fun. Dairy Queen after to celebrate. I love these small moments of happiness.
I love CHOOSING to be happy and be in love. Both happiness and love are not circumstantial or feelings, but instead a choice and hard work (marriage especially). I had a pretty crappy start to the week a lot of things went wrong, but I love that I made myself get through it and stay positive.
Have a good night everyone!!!

Creating this thread allows both of these impulses to flow freely!
I hope your garden will help your children find many loving memories that they can pass on to their own, along with your stories of your grandparents who will continue to live forever in their hearts and ours.

Here is an amusing toy to play with your cukes and zukes and make your own special memories. Even if they don't quite work out, the odd shapes will still be a lot of fun and have their own special stories to tell over the years. Besides, they can all go into salads!
Let me know when you do start. I shall have some neat strawberry, raspberry and apple trees for your kids!
