Yer...OXYGEN...is one big wet fart from your lard-ass leader. And he's holding all of our heads under the blanket.

ALL of us get to suffocate under another $3 Trillion added to Public Debt. But don't take my word for it. Or CNN's. Or even Murdoch's Wall Street Journal (even though they say this too).

Here it is straight from the source:

CBO estimates that debt-service costs increase the bill's cumulative effect on the deficit to $3.0 trillion.

And much of that debt goes to benefit the top 1 percent. Again. And y'all fall for this over and over and over and over and....

My claim is not false. You quote a news article that misrepresents "income percentage data" to obfuscate who is benefitting the most from the increased debt load. You also are not considering the whole package.

Just expanding the "pass through" deduction and increasing the threshold for the estate tax will account for about $1 Trillion, almost a third of the increase in debt. The top 1 percent make 70 percent of "pass through" income.

According to an analysis by the University of Chicago (and funded by the U.S. Treasury!), the richest 0.1 percent of taxpayers will see their incomes rise from this by more than $120,000 annually, on average.

The increase in threshold for estate taxes is equally skewed. It doubles to $30 Million for couples. Only about 0.1 percent of estates benefit from that. An additional $15 Million of their estate now goes UNTAXED. I doubt that this benefits anyone that is on this Board.

There is also a lower top marginal tax rate. Households in the Top 1 percent will see an after-tax increase in tax savings of about $45K.

Your "claim" just rests on the fact that there are a shit-load more poor people than rich people. And that their incomes are lower, so they get a bigger "percentage" of savings relative to their income.

So yeah, they get more overall, as a group. But the people really benefitting are the super rich. To the tune of $1 Trillion dollars. Distributed to a tiny segment of the population.

And you get to help pay for it!

Now...we haven't even BEGUN to address the inequities in who is hurt most by Medicaid cuts, etc. We will all be paying for that too, not just the people who lose coverage.

The GOP is lying to you about who benefits the most from this.

Just like they are lying about how much this is all going to cost.

But again....y'all fall for this over and over and over and over....

.
Wrong again. Every study showed that 80% of taxpayers saw a tax reduction under the Trump tax cuts. Basic math also says that ANY adjusting of rates will see disproportionate numbers when rich people get included. They have more money. You just hate middle class (and rich) people getting to keep more of THEIR money. Medicaid cuts? No. It's forcing young, healthy, working age people to actually (gasp, the horror) get jobs and work. Medicaid was supposed to be for the elderly and low income people. You just keep buying the lies YOUR party has been spreading about this bill. And you just keep falling for it. Cue the personal attacks and insults....

Do you ever actually read what you post?

You basically just repeated what I said in your first four sentences.

Supported my argument.

Then conclude….. that I hate people who aren’t rich keeping more of their money.

Even though my post was really about...how much I hate that they are going to keep less, in the end.

Incredible logic.

I don’t even need to respond to the rest. You make yourself look far worse than I ever could.

And repeating your simplistic analysis of the BBB tax policy does not negate my argument one bit.

I ask again. Show me where I lied.

I don't care if this was "done" elsewhere. You accused me of lying here.

Stop deflecting.

it amuses me watching the same old claims about tax cuts by Reagan and Trump only benefiting the rich.

try proving the IRS themselves wrong on this

Speaking of cred....I went easy on you above. REALLY. FUCKING. EASY.

Because I never pointed out that your "source" for your "analysis" of the BBB impacts was an article from 2021 comparing earlier tax reform bills to Biden's agenda!

Now...maybe that was even intentional. I shouldn't give you that benefit of the doubt. But for fun's sake, let's say it was.

Here's where the dick-stepping happened...

You are completely ignoring the SIGNIFICANT changes to the BBB that have negative impacts on revenue and the increased benefits to higher incomes from things like "pass through" income, business depreciation schedules, and a higher limit on SALT deductions.

YOU USED 4 YEAR OLD MATERIAL TO MAKE YOUR ARGUMENTS ABOUT CURRENT LEGISLATION.

(go back and look at the link, people...I ain't makin this shit up...a rare thing here)
