Collin Powell voted for Obama because he is a very intelligent man and recognized who the better choice for the highest office was.

Race had nothing to do with it and it should not even be a factor!

PS
Obama's not all that intelligent.

I don't think I have ever called Obama a complete dumbass... but even if I have... it's not because he's black!! Most of the list of Republican Candidates pretty much clears that up!!

Anyone qualified, and worth a damn... currently, wants nothing to do with The White House!!

It's a shame... but true!!

At the same time, there is no reason to change until a better qualified candidate comes along.

Changing just to remove Obama and replace him with whoever the republicans can find isn't a real smart thing to do.

I could deal with Romney if the democrats retain the Senate but the rest of the republicans have extreme positions of one type or another.

Like I said. No reason to change.

Change is everything the republicans have fought off. They like things the way they are. Think what health care reform could have been like if the republicans had helped. I know how hard that is to imagine, but try thinking of the republicans as someone who gave a shit about others less fortunate than themselves.

It is Christmas season after all. It's not about votes.
Jesus wasn't looking for votes. How much did Jesus charge to heal the sick or to feed them?

Don't bring Jesus into this. Remember, while he didn't charge for healing, he didn't require anyone else to pay for another's healing either.

And to Republicans and Democrats, including Obama, it is ALL about votes and power. Regardless of the season.

Actually, it is all about money and power. Votes are commodities and can be bought and sold like anything else.
