Like I said before there are alot of insecure asses on this board and I still stand by it. If my so called "ad hominem" attacks do offend you then maybe you need to reevaluate yourself. As a black woman who frequents this board, I read a lot of inappropriate content geared towards us but I don't always comment because I have better things to do than to sit online all day and start arguments like your comrades. Max blatantly started an argument with me by suggesting that I was "catty" and indirectly throwing insults at me so I had to give her a taste of her own Geritol lol. The real reason why some of you feel the need to try and take up for the lady is because she is white and I am black. It's no secret. Max has no one else to blame for this conflict but herself due to her comments geared towards me. Yeah everyone does have the right to freedom of speech, but for some reason when it starts to hit home for a certain group it's viewed as inappropriate or insulting. Personally, I don't feel bad about anything that I've said to the old lady because she deserved every bit of it. Your posts as well as others that upheld her comments her seemed to come across as biased.

Just to be perfectly clear, I posted in the hope that you might read what I said in the spirit it was offered, and I'm referring to your posts not just in this thread, but most that I've read in other threads, as well. Forlorn hope, I see.
I don't know what your deal with M A X is, don't care to be involved. Perhaps you think that because I've got a quote from her in my sig line, that I'm somehow associated with her or defending her. My association with her is the same as my association with you, except you haven't posted any quips that have made me laugh, nor do I expect you to, as you seem to take this stuff
very seriously.
However, since you bring it up, it seems to me that, as I said previously, you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Perhaps, when M A X suggested:

It's now completely derailed, and shows no sign of getting back on track. Not sure why you felt attacked by me, as I only offered some gentle advice that your posting style was coming across a bit strong, with that undercurrent of hostility. Perhaps you might take your own advice and "reevaluate".
