I've never been turned away. I do blur my face, but on my website I explain that after screening I will send a picture showing my face.
I've turned one guy away. When I first started, I part of my screening process was to meet in public. He just gave me the willies. Later when I finally got into the provider only area, he was blacklisted. He preyed on newbies who he knew that didn't have resources to fall back on.
