So instead of debating the theories of different taxation methods or the fact that almost half of all Americans don't pay ANY federal income taxes on an annual basis you choose to fire off personal attacks instead... huh.. Well I just looked up a chart and the Dems have not always had control of congress. In the House maybe until Newt and the boys but it for sure would have had to have had some bipartisan support to be there. Therefore, anything to do with taxes and/or tax credits originated in a Democrat-controlled House when Gerald Ford was President.
Why would you think it was a personal attack? I didn't single you out. I just called Conservatives on some of their BS. Maybe you just feel guilty. This is second post in this thread. I am not a white knight or trying to come to the rescue of anyone. I was pointing out that instead of debating the facts you were throwing bombs around and trying to attack the personal traits of others.
Conservatives are the majority on this board. Why would you think anything is directed at you? Isn't this your first post in this thread? Are you trying to be a white knight for other Conservatives because they can't defend themselves?
Maybe you just skipped over the part where I pointed out that Conservatives are misleading people when they talk about a Flat Tax. It's merely a non-progressive percentage tax that shifts burden to lower income citizens. A true flat tax is not based on percentage, but dollar amount. Originally Posted by Longermonger

The real percentage would be some sort of multiple of what his average listener makes. Uh, Rush only drives American made cars. Originally Posted by CuteOldGuyAre the reports of Rush Limbaugh driving a $450,000 black Maybach 57S false? Or are they just outdated? The article I read was from a few months ago.
