'Spoon & the House Rockers' was their band's name. Played in a house on Elmwood Ave up the Street from Brinks in the 70s. Spoon was pretty good and band was very good and tight as hell! Well Spoon had a serious PT problem, passed on from overdoing it. Barbara St. Clair filled in for awhile until forming her new group, Barbara St. Clair & the Pin-Kooshins.



After Barbara St. Clair left the band struck together went on to bigger and better things after changing their name to Spyro Gyra

I remember Spyro Gyra in the local music scene. Uncle Rog from W-CMF used to play their stuff on his homegrown radio show. It was a good time for the local music scene. There were so many talented musicians, and going to see the live shows in small venue's was the thing to do. Rock, Metal, Reggae, Jazz Fusion, Punk, Funk, New Wave, whatever you were into, it was all out there.
I miss that.
