The truth about health care

Funny; I thought you were pimping socialist healthcare systems.....afterall, you started the post glamorizing the phony outcomes of those systems.

Simple solutions Nonsense.....
News flash. Obama was lying when he said his ObamaCareTax would bend the "cost curve" !!!!!
Whirlygirly, if you stopped calling me a socialist and get your accounting in order, you may find we are not so far apart.

Acknowledging a problem is 90% of the solution.

I'm not sure how the market will help in education or primary care, maybe you can give examples. If the insurance/drug companies do the proper economics and are fully responsible for whole of life care, and there is a proper marketplace, maybe they will be incentivised.

My gf used one of those drop in primary care places the other day for something minor, it seemed to work OK apart from the fact that I had to pay for it as it was pre existing and she hadn't yet sorted out her insurance.

(c) so what are the simple solutions suggested by Romney?
(d) anybody who says US system is the best in the world needs to be shaken out of their smug delusions.

If hospitals did the same for patients with NON LIFE-THREATENING ailments, healthcare would be much, much cheaper.

I know of one healthcare corporation that is battling this by prescribing the newest, highest priced antibiotics and other drugs with no generics available and tough to get opiates from the docs, so when they go to get their scripts filled, they have a $400 pharmacy bill. It didn't take long until the freeloaders started avoiding their hospitals, now the ER for the most part, only has people that are truly in need of emergency care and receive a very high level of personal service since they are not bogged down with hundreds of people with a cold. Always more than one way to skin a cat.
