P.S. Back to the topic at hand, in utmost sincerity Mister Gentleman ECCIElonian Redcat, simply utilize your own judgment and discretion where gifts are concerned for any particular lady. For me in all honesty, I am genuinely appreciative of any gift even if such are hand-picked flowers.

You are right, different companies=different fit. I wear a 7 in some shoes, 7.5 in others, and usually an 8 in sneakers or boots. I have two pair of heels, look exactly alike (different colors of course), different company. One is a size 6 the other is a size 7. They fit the same.

Give me the price of the shoes and I can either buy the shoes or pay bills (or blow it on a new Xbox game). IF you want me to ONLY buy shoes then sure, I'll do that for our next date. Either way, a gift is a gift. Why do you think it's easier to just buy family gift cards on Christmas

I had a very sweet client a couple of years back that would send me Amazon.com gift cards on a regular basis. He's out of the hobby now...

I'd use them to purchase really interesting and unique chess sets that I normally wouldn't have bought, due to their expense and my practicality.
