Why am I catching so much grief from so many members of ECCIE lately when I ask for references? "I've been around for such and such years, I don't need 'em." "I've been "hobbying" for years, I don't need to give you references." OK fine...you don't need to give me references, that's your prerogative. But, it's also my prerogative to refuse you an appointment. And when I do refuse an appointment, I shouldn't be insulted or degraded which has happened on more than one occasion.

You really should think twice about seeing a provider that doesn't even bother to ask you for references, because it isn't smart for either party.

the man is of decent stock...

p411 is cool..however they have had issues in the past as well..its not the save all..and i dont keep all my eggs in 1 basket..
and a couple of the gents refused to show me their id..so that i can match it to their p411 id..

.so i prefer to do my own screening...its not the save all either..however..it makes me feel comfortable..
way easier than waiting for a vouch that will never come or hearing he's a bad dude when hes actually good..
or hearing he's a good dude when he;s actually bad..or the vouch comes but its like 3 weeks after the fact..
and if the guy is cool and wants to actually see me ,,he does produce what ive asked for to make sure
im comfortable..after all if both parties are comfortable..the visit usually goes very well for both parties..

if hes cool with the screening boom we on..if not..he moves onto the next lady...the thing i hate the most

Guys shouldnt need to show you their ID to verify their p411. They need to show whatever item they carry that has the last 4 digits of their P411. My item doesnt have my name on it or any other personal info. Now if they were dumb enough to use numbers of their ID then they need to pony up and it to you.
