I'll count myself lucky in comparison to how slow the metro expansion has been moving the past 6 months.

As KCMO got it first, I was happy to get a hole drilled with capabilities in August 2013 then services connected in September 2013. The $300 for 84 months of ~5up/~1down has been worth every penny. No contract was required to upgrade for a month, prorated billing for mid-month service changes and seamlessly downgraded after peak usage during NCAA tournament. I've been pleased to say the least.
