Actually I was "bragging' about my phone ...LMAO like you are the guru of modern tech, and the rest of us remain in the dark. And a smart phone raises you above the crowd. LMAO
..... I was bringing you up to date on the "off the shelf" software available.
You and your bunk buddy WTF remind me of NASA in the pre-flight days seeking "bids' on a "space shaver" ..... Remington's offering was a $50,000 per unit vacuum fitted electric razor that ran on batteries .... there were similar "offerings" ..... until one of the would be astronauts mentioned ...
"safety razor" with foam shaving cream .... and just wipe off the foam.
At least NASA figured it out .... but ... they wanted to learn.
You two struggle to "look right" even when you are WRONG. Originally Posted by LexusLover

Obama's policy is a natural progression.

Given that the Chinese already have a monopoly over Cuban oil production, there's little prospect that any American company will soon be able to horn in on some of that action. However, American consumers will benefit from lower fuel costs regardless of whether the U.S. or a U.S. company has a direct stake in producing that oil. Cuban oil will help depress prices in the oil market world wide. Plus, given American tax laws, you'll have to elaborate on why you believe the United States will benefit from some American oil company, in name only, gaining access to Cuban oil. Cuba does have oil potential , maybe that influenced a thaw in relations....
Without US sanctions, offshore exploration will be easier. Besides, the use of advanced technology will increase the chances to find commercially viable wells. In the new context, offshore blocks acquisition will become an expensive auction game where US oil companies may grab all interesting places.

Given its prospects, it's doubtful that Cuba will give up its hunt for oil. The U.S. Geological Survey estimates that the waters north and west of Cuba contain 4.6 billion barrels of oil. State-owned Cubapetroleo says undiscovered offshore reserves all around the island may be more than 20 billion barrels, which would be double the reserves of Mexico. Originally Posted by WTF

Rewarding the Castros is not 'progress'.The Saudis have more than oil to offer. The Saudis role in geopolitics is substantially greater than Cuba's ever will be. All Cuba can offer the U.S. today is second rate -- by today's standards -- cigars and rum; plus, cheap sugar that will force an American industry into bankruptcy and more third world immigrants.
