To the OP: Listen to your inner feelings and do not take risks which increase the danger in this. Don't listen to the ones who would have you endanger yourself. What he became infected with unfortunately does not kill right away and is a merciless death sentance. It is what I would classify as a Level 1 mistake (decision resulting in death to self or family), Level 2 would be serious injury / disemberment, lengthy incarceration, Level 3 financial ruin, some jail time / police record. Level 4 anquish, soicial phobia, minor financial miscue, mental misery from breakup, possibly major depressive episode triggered by bad decision but not consequenses of other 3 which are far more serious.

I do everything covered and limit activity to my budget. There are three no good things which can come from a guy hobbying: financial ruin via sex addiction, risk of STD's in the age of AIDS, risk of getting some gal pg then paying child support. All this for something I am paying for with those funds gone forever? Time to take a time out, huddle the team, and let the coach tell me the play. I have been considering retiring from it or limiting activity even more.

This was caught on security cam and footage seen after fact once crew realized they were missing. They were never heard from again. Assuming they survived the fall to the water, what a horrible way to die.

If your ever suffering from a major depressive episode there is nothing like a straight shot of Crown Royal. I don't know but I think landon & the OP should escape the hobby together, lol. Seriously though, if you want to do everything covered that's totally up to you and yes, safer...but nothing is going to be 100% except doing nothing at all. Regarding suicides on the internet, someone at my child's university committed suicide and there was no trace then and still none, so it can be kept out of the media.
