Vacations are issued for accumulation of points or egregious violations. There are a lot of things that are handled "off" the board that most are unaware of. If I issued points or banned folks every single time they called each other names, half the board would be gone or banned. This is an adult board and as such people should act accordingly. This thread seemed to be getting civilized but I see that a few who opted to add gasoline to the fire.
I see you did get points early this year but that was the only instance. The infraction was minor and it was issued by a mod from a different area. I don't know the full story so I won't comment on if it was deserved or not.
As far as Taylor Love is concerned, she earned her points and vacation.
