You hired her to provide a service. She did. End of story. What stops her from having a life outside of what you paid her to do?
If you are not comfortable with her being your nurse, it is quite simple: you tell the head nurse you don't want her to be your nurse. That is extremely common on oncology floors to have a list of people you rather not work on you, especially the longer you stay there for.
To come to the board and discuss this makes no sense. What if a hooker went trick or treating in your neighborhood and came on the board with this BS: I went trick or treating with my kids, ran into this client who lives on the corner of the street behind Westheimer and Montrose, now I don't know what to do because he saw me. Same childish, outing BS you are doing. Why even bring up you are an oncology patient? In that specific hospital? That's a very small niche of professionals. It makes no sense.
