In reading posts for a number of years now, I've seen what I consider a general lack of common courtesy and disregard for the what I assume is the primary purpose of this board which is to share information in a supportive way for people involved in the hobby. The nearly constant negativity and bickering only serves to give a soapbox to self-aggrandizing idiots while discouraging others from participating.

Simply put - people have different kinks and we should celebrate that, not ridicule it.

I'll admit to the irony of bickering about bickering, but felt compelled to speak up nonetheless.

In retrospect, had you voiced those concerns back in '10 or even '11.... and a half dozen posts ago.... you quite possibly could have changed the coarse of this entire website in a different direction....

I do think there is a difference between not "typical" and not not "normal".

Eccentricity can be charming, a lot of times it is. I enjoy eccentric individuals and have a high tolerance for them because they're often the most interesting and engaging people.

Those who engage in repulsive behavior, I have less time for them, particularly when it comes to base, animalistic behavior like fucking.

Used underwear? Clearly overweight hookers? To me it's bizarre, abherrent behavior and most likely a manifestation of some underlying psychological issue.

My last regular was a nurse in real life, she used to yammer on and on about mentally short-changed people who would engage in all kinds of garish behavior like picking their noses and eating it, eating their own shit, drinking out of discarded cans and bottles that they find in garbage cans or on the side of the street and other things of this nature. Fucking abnormal, physically distasteful behavior way over the edge and into what one may reasonably describe as "nauseating".

Some of this oddball hooker/customer interaction is right on the border of the same type of unpleasantness, at least to me it is.

I prefer physically healthy, attractive youngish women who don't regularly engage in patently unclean and self-destructive behavior.

But evidently I am rude, without manners, and don;t observe the unwritten rules of the hooking business.

Sure but it's a computer forum. This format lends to participants communicating in a more forthright fashion than we may in real life. I'm quite sure most would be more guarded and more likely to observe social convention in virtually any other environment.
