Fake news has been fucking amazing for me. I got on the train a little late but I've been making decent hobby money by telling Trump people whatever they want to hear for the last few months. They never fact check anything. Originally Posted by PitfallI voted for Trump and I fact check most of the news I read or hear. Does that fact make you an idiot or just wrong?
I also got off of FB 9 months ago because I was tired of people circulating fake news as if it were real. The articles came from both conservatives and liberals. Keep in mind, this was months before the media began complaining about fake news and how it "cost" Hillary the election. I know, it's hard to believe anyone could vote for Trump without fake news driving their every action.
The key to this independent thought is to question things that don't make sense. I do research and draw my own conclusions. Sometimes I don't like what I find. I think that's what separates me from most liberals. If the story isn't in line with liberal idealogy, it is discarded and often branded as hate speech. Those who disagree are called names like racist or sexist.
Here is an example of an idea that most liberals refuse to accept:
Hillary lost because she was a horrible candidate.
It's really that simple. The evidence is there, if you dare to research it. I don't think you will. But, the information is out if you decide you want to "fact check anything". It is far easier to discount it and blame racism, sexism, the Russians, fake news, wikileaks, and whitey. Yes, the truth is far too painful.
