President-elect Trump wants more coal. Does that make sense?

The only reason they let water out of the Hoover Dam is for the little fishes to swim downstream, and for downstream water rights. The electricity, while a wonderful resource, is a free bonus when available. Originally Posted by DSK

Unless the law has changed only government owned electrical systems can purchase electricity from Hoover Dam, since it is also "Government owned." It's been awhile, but I believe LA was a municipal owned system and could purchase from Hoover.

As I mentioned a problem with Hoover is Lake Mead is "drying up"!

The water, if it dries up, would destroy California....maybe we should blow up the damn so the fish can swim upstream?
I suspect that's why Trump wanted to spend a little more time at home in NYC and away from the WH. Air the place out .... you Liberals leave a stench when you vacate. After you depart it will take a bit, but then the rest of us have something positive in the future ... clean, fresh air to breathe.
