Changing a light bulb - a new thread?

Looks pretty hot to me too. I've never saw her, but based on pics alone, I would considereal it
I remember when I first started on ASPD back in what, 2000? 2001? I posted questions because I didn't know where to start. What I got back were... answers... helpful answers, suggestions, ideas, a few "me too's" but the community was there to help each other.

Over the years ASPD changed and it wasn't as helpful. Sort of like ECCIE.
...
My tip is to be prepared for the responses you get if you do start a thread. Originally Posted by Highballz

The irony here is .... you guys are, even though unaware ... proving my whole point ... which I hope newbies are reading and understanding DO NOT let hot heads (or maybe limp heads) discourage you from posting.
As you can see ... there are many considerate and understanding dudes here that can offer much information.

IMO, most newbies do not post due to the fact that the blogging bullies attack every word that they type. If people don't like what another person is saying, move on, do not respond.... Originally Posted by chris1107

oh well, wait ... there have been others.
AND ... so if you say "asking the most basic questions" (annoys you) ... THEN, who the hell ARE you ... the "Wizard" of ECCIE / hobbying?

BUT .... BUT .... BUT ... I will have to say, I've seen a change, and it is small and slow .... but as long as we stick together and support each other (those with respect in and for the community),
hopefully it will continue to move forward with a positive tone.

Listen, I KNOW there are many layers within this hobbying world and we all have our different purposes for being here.

The need to be a mentor or help someone navigate through without abusing - controlling - degrading - or BEING TREATED as such ... I believe is important ... on both ends.

You can agree or not. That is what this thread is about --- to just have respect for what we all do .... and share RESPECT to those ... new or not.
