But I don't think it's a factor. There are past family dynamics that support my belief that if my oldest daughter suspected I was in the hobby she'd be in my face.
My younger daughter, the ballerina diva, is different. She's more subtle and more into conflict avoidance. I can't see her wanting to directly confront me the way her sister would. She's also not the type to resort to subterfuge. The ballerina diva would do one of two things, 1) rat me out to her sister or 2) fret, worry, write poetry, and eat lots of candy.
Since the "money pit" was appreciative that I counseled Jane and I haven't seen any dark poems, candy wrappers, or clumps of hair about I feel that my inter-family security isn't compromised.
So where does that leave me and Jane. Just where it was last night when I passed the ball back to her and walked off the court. No Facebook reply, no emails, no voice messages, and both cats are still alive.
