2) I will wait to cheer about Trump's decision if and when it is actually implemented. I believe the obstructionists will drag this out as long as humanly possible.

Seems to be several issues that the Military has to address when dealing with transgenders. Is it worthwhile? Do the benefits outweigh the special treatment that must be given to transgenders? IMHO, no it doesn't. We can agree to disagree.
