I read in today's sports page it was the worst defeat in Smart's tenure and probably his career. 3 out 4 games this year have been the lowest offensive production in his tenure as well. All this with an NBA lottery pick at Center. At times the BIG line up really works as Osterkowski is a great passer when he moves from the 4 (power forward) to the 3 (small forward). It's really turned into a guard's game today and you need 3 guys really flying around out there. Even the 4 spot has become extremely mobile. Originally Posted by derek303True that. They beat io st who is one of the last four in according to the announcers tonight and Baylor more importantly will be the last four out. Thats not very politically correct, congrats. But pretty friggin funny.I thought that way but Coleman and Roach are playing lights out lately. Roach was the PG last year out of necessity and that was not his position. I predicted a loooooong time ago that UT would make the tournament. Still many games to be played but as of today they are in. I'm not expecting them to make a long run but 2 victories are not out of the question. Then Bamba leaves.
Texas's guard play will limit them in the tournament. They just dont have the consistency needed to make a run. Originally Posted by Anonburton
