I guess it is probably best to be open about it when one has low standards. Originally Posted by SillyGirl

Well SillyGirl, I posted on another treat that you and I disagree on the needs of the art community to be supported by tax dollars.

I don't believe that the government should contribute one dime to the support of arts, for any reason. This puts us on the opposite sides of the question. However, both of our opinions boil down to what one believes how government should function.

The exchange of ideas between people is a proper function in a democracy, you have your ideas and I have my own. What usually happens is the these questions are resolved near the middle.

Do I have low standards for not thinking the same way you do, or are you insulting Stacy? She has been around KC a long, long, time. All the reviews I have seen are excellent, I don't understand. Go read my other posts, I stood up for you because I thought you have presented things well, except for being overly excited about this art thing. I enjoy art too, and I purchase it when I like it. But publicly injecting my personal art preference on others by demanding their tax dollars to fund my art selections would be wrong.

Just my opinion, and I don't think there are very many facts to back either position. This is just about personal likes and dislikes. It is not worth getting excited about.
