Indy’s dead for good?

I looked at the new site once or twice, it does look a bit confusing but then, a lot of "new to me" sites start out that way.

I agree with Tolstoy. Back during my start I seriously had 3 or 4 glowing reviews on each page. I look back at pictures of myself then and realize time has served me well. I had a gut and really wasn't anything to write home about. Those reviews sounded like I was Pamela Anderson.

Now I'm much more concerned with my health and spending a ton of time in the gym and I look much better now than I did then but until the demise of TER I had an 8 average in looks then and an 8 average after my come back. I think if you truly have an amazing time and the pictures are honest guys have a hard time writing a mean review. Especially in other cities post fosta guys walk in and almost look confused because I look like my photos.

The TOS review system was really that much of a problem? Really? Sure, it was mostly positive-reinforcement reviews, but I think few if any of those reviews were scams or dishonest. The guy posted he had a good time, he probably had a good time. Read a providers reviews and then compare that to all her other attendant press. Read what all the guys who have seen her BCD have to say about her. The guys who like the same "type" of girl as you do- pay closer attention to what they have to say. Providers acquire general and specific "reputations" over time. Providers either "get it" or they don't, right....?

Before TOS most of the reviews on ASPD were mostly positive also. And some of the negative ones would create thread-shit shows and entertaining reading material. Then all that started happening on TOS. Sure, providers could respond to reviews on TOS. And I did not care about that either. A providers general and specific "reputation" always got "established" within a couple months of her debut. What are the "trends" in her BCD Performance press? Usually easy to read and ascertain.....

Does the new TOS format even have reviews anymore? I really don't know. One of the new mission-statements says the new format has moved beyond a "forums" board. So does that mean no reviews? As for ASPD and positive reviews, those of us that go back that far will probably recall there was not the sort of trouble in the hobby that exists now. Sure occasionally, but the providers as a group cared about their clients, themselves and others. Its a different world these days.

I agree with Tolstoy. The review section on Indys was what it was. You had to back channel and read the guys room to get the whole story but it was fairly easy to figure out which girls would meet your expectations on Indys.

The Pittsburgh hobby scene has certainly changed but I don’t think the quality of reviews on Indys has anything to do with it. Indys has certainly been in decline for at least five years but ECCIE wouldn’t seem to be the reason why. I have never noticed people “flocking” to ECCIE. There’s a core group of 10 or 15 people who have been posting here for about three or four years and that’s it. There’s nothing wrong with that but this site isn’t nearly as relevant to the hobby scene as Indys was from 2006 - 2011. There’s multiple reasons for the decline of Indys. I’d say the biggest reason would be the viability of SA. PI’s legal problems played a big role too. I’d say those two reasons were the biggest factors but there were many more.

Indys greatest feature was that it was a “one stop shop.“ In it’s day there were a ton of hot girls advertising there. The “vouch system“ allowed girls and guys to verify each other anonymously. The reviews and guys room Intel allowed it guys to get enough information to make intelligent choices about who to see.

My heyday in the hobby would’ve been 2008 through 2013 and I saw something like 120 escorts in that period of time. At one time or another I used Indys, Escorts.com, Eros, Date-check, and TER to screen or schedule my appointments. I’d say at least 80% was done on Indys. I don’t think there’s any site out there currently that could do what Indys used to do for the hobby in the Pittsburgh area.

In one of these threads, someone else pointed out that the usefulness of any website depends upon the people who use it. That applies to ECCIE and Indys alike. ECCIE doesn’t have as many members who post in Pittsburgh as Indys did in its heyday. There are very few ads posted here. There are very few girls who participate here at all. The guys who do post seem to be interested in girls that I would never be interested in seeing. So ECCIE appears to have a very limited usefulness to me. That doesn’t mean it isn’t useful for others. It just means that I don’t see much used to it. Everyone is different.

Right now, Indys is basically useless. ECCIE appears to be the only game in town. I probably will buy a premium membership here and I probably will read a lot more often than I have in the past which was once every three or four months . That said, I don’t really see ECCIE replacing Indys. Hell, Indys hasn’t been Indys for at least 3 years and I don’t see “Indys.ch” replacing Indys either. It’s a brave new hobby world that we will all have to adjust.

I miss the old ASPD those were the days, A lot of good fun guys and girls were on it. A lot of hot younger girls.

A site needs to be user friendly to both clients and the girls. That is very hard to do in today’s environment.


I don’t know how the new indy’s will work and how long the providers can hang with it once the bills start piling up.

Seems the smart girls will move on to SA or other sites plus twitter. They may find in the long run being independent from one site controlling them to an extent is a blessing.

A smart provider will figure how to stay safe .

The facts are Indys made them lazy. Providers did not have to work hard to get clients. They could count on good reviews and could hide between the layers of indys system.

We all will adapt but most important is to get along no need to be at each other on this site as it scares providers away.

Girls who get good reviews here will find lots of suitors for their services.

Oh, Sams just another know it all. He wouldn’t see any of the girls reviewed here but one of his favorites on Indy’s was OG. An ok hooker but nothing special. You’re right in saying that I didn’t open an account here until a month ago. Frankly I saw no need to. You can read the forums here without becoming a member. I’m not saying that the reviews here are better, worse or about the same as they were on Indys. I believe you when you say they are “better.” If they primarily relate to women I don’t care to see, however, it hardly matters. I’m not into streetwalkers, AMPs, hood rats or strip joints, but to each his own. I just took a look at the review section a second ago and I will admit that section of this site is surprisingly active all things considered and I did see a few that might be relevant. As stated previously I will probably buy a upgraded membership and find out.

I think it was successful largely because it was provider centric. In my opinion Indys fell apart largely because of SA and legal problems of its owner. It doesn’t really matter anyway. Indys is gone now. Will this site change as a result? We shall see.

Well that is a better response than your original one. One thing you have missed since you were not a premium member is the Rest of the Story (ROS) on the reviews. Yes, you can read some things not being a member here, but the ROS is not one of them.

You may not be interested in streetwalkers, AMPs, hood rats or strip joints - not everyone is - but the point is you can find good hofo on all of those along with typical providers, high dollar visitors, even some SA girls, etc. That is the beauty - something for everyone. And as you saw, the review forums are quite active.

We’ll agree to disagree on SA. It certainly hasn’t affected ECCIE. There’s usually a couple of SAreviews here a week. Indy’s flourished during the time when Summertime, Exotic Memories, Elite Tanning where around. That’s where most of the young hotties worked. The girls didn’t consider themselves prostitutes, much like the girls on SA today. I would say the color coded vouch system ultimately hurt Indy’s far more than SA. A newbie red square hobbyist had a tough time getting laid. Many got frustrated and left. Green square providers wouldn’t accept other girls vouches if they didn’t like them. You had to be in a certain clique to see certain ladies. And Green square members caused the most problems on Indy’s. But hey, I had some good times with people I met there. But that was years ago. It’s been on a steady decline for 5 years. RIP.

As to your last statement - will this site change as a result of Indys being gone - I would say it does not need to nor should it.
