Ok guys ....this weekend is my Bday. Besides spending two hours with my current ATF, I plan to treat myself to a nice steak dinner. Im new here, so I would love to get some recommendations! Originally Posted by NewtoTX

Nice steak dinners or great providers are all relative. Some want fats in them. Some want lean meats like spinners. Some want to see some bones. Some don't want to see any hair!

Here are some suggestions:
  • Simply grill fresh steaks - Hillstone restaurant, formerly known as Houstons', Taste of Texas, even the free peanuts "Texas-Roach" House.
  • Aged steaks - Del Frisco's, Pappas', Ruth's Chris, Morton, etc.
  • Salty steaks - Outback, Salt Grass, Perry's, Flemming, or any disgusting Landry's chain steak houses.
  • Expensive marbled steaks - Wagu, aka Kobe-knock-off, Mo's, Tony's. (You can have a sample appertizer at McCormick & Schmick's.)
The best steak for you providers? Our own's tbone2u!!!
