I don't mind seeing bare legs in public, nothing like seeing a cute woman in the summer wearing a cute dress, legs, and some cute sandals/heels.

For the bedroom, stockings and thigh highs are definately a turn-on, don't know, but my eyes focus on woman wearing stockings vs woman not wearing stockings in showcases, but whoever invented that, one of the best inventions imo.

Depends entirely on the woman. In a lot of ways attire sets the scene. Not as a costume but it definitely plays a role. Admittedly I'm that guy that will rip or remove what is necessary and leave the rest in place. Example: woman in thigh highs, blouse and skirt. Open the blouse, open bra or push out of the way, hike up the shirt, rip off the panties get to the heart of the matter. Hose, shoes both stay on or are let to fall where the may.

i prefer darker stocking rather than mostly transparent ones.
i also like tight fishnet stockings - they give a different kind of sensation/stimulation as i caress the woman's leg.
