Cooking....something different

HEB has Chimichurri and Walmart also. I really love cooking with that stuff. I am a big time foodie. I just grilled a day ago.. had enough left over and made these awesome loaded BBQ potatoes with the rest today. My problem is I cook big. I'm not good at cooking just for me. Today I think I'm going to make sweet Hawaiian bread sliders. I found the bread yesterday. I have some great sauces from HEB and I think it's going to taste great. Cooking eases my mind. I truly enjoy it and I enjoy pleasing others with good food !! Originally Posted by TexasJess

Is it any good? A lot of times stuff like that gets overdone. Looking at some of the commercially available ones they have spices listed other than the crushed red pepper. Some use green chili and jalapeno. It looks like they're trying to make salsa.

It's expensive to cook for 1 and if you're not a leftovers person a lot will go to waste.
Jess......I'm like you. For years I always cooked big. I'm guessing because I am from a VERY large family. Several years ago I figured out how to cook small. I threw all my large pots away.
I'm going to try the fajitas again. I miss the outside grilling. Trying to do it inside sucks.

It's taken me a long time to get used to living with Asian women when it comes to breakfast. They don't do what I do in regards to a traditional breakfast.
Old school SOS

Make your SOS as you normally would but add chopped up boiled eggs into the gravy. It gives it a different taste and is delicious.
If you want to get fancy add the whites to the gravy and sprinkle the yellow on top as a garnish.

Something about the boiled eggs that take the SOS up to a new level.
