Tomatoes and such

I've never been successful with tomatoes.
Years ago I tried raising citrus trees.
I did a great job but they never bore fruit.
One day I was talking about the trees to a dancer at the Church right after playing in VIP. She was from Brazil.
She told me to stop feeding and watering and pampering the trees.
I took her advice and the next year I had more fruit than I could give away.

What I got from that was the trees need a little stress to want to re-create. In my case....it worked.

^^^^ A lot of truth in that tb....seen a similar situation years ago when the old man had planted some satsuma trees on his property. When he finally stopped fucking with them so much, they exploded and had more satsumas than he knew what to do with....

Forget about growing the tomatoes. I want to know how to get in on ZP's Salsa and Marinara.

Slit's salsa is hard to beat.
Zp's secret sauce is pretty sweet. I'll have to try her marinara some day.

Yep, In all my years of deer hunting I've learned that oak trees will produce a ton of acorns in a drought. It's their way of ensuring that the species continues.

Hopefully by the time we make salsa and marinara the Fawkin bars will be open again so we can have our “whose” is better contest and get some of these crazy fawkers to judge being that some have showed some interest in tasting my sauce!

@Russ. Thinking you need to get some salsa making on so you can join in on the taste tests friendly competition we have ! We use the same recipe but we both put our own twist on it.
