I think you are comparing explicit sex with what are being called "racist imaging".


"Wokeness" is basically to do with all things racial, not sexual, at least that is my understanding and to be honest, I have never sen or read a Dr. Seuss book. I'm basing my opinion on what I have heard on the news.


And the crazy thing about this if I'm understanding it right, isn't so much to do with what is written or the "message" it sends, but solely on the "racial images" in the books.


Take out the stereotypical drawing of a "Jap", a "China-man" and a Black character and I believe the problem is solved. Re-do the books with a more updated version. Problem solved and those that want to spend thousands of dollars on the books with the racial images for a collection, knock yourself out but only the new versions will be printed going forth.


None of this crap is all that hard to solve with just a little common sense and less "wokeness".
