To assure someone is "eligible to vote" requires the same type of confirmation as it does to buy a beer ... in person with an appropriate ID for the state in which they are ordering the beer.

There is one other FACT required in many states ... including Texas ... confirming one lives in the voting precinct in which they are casting the vote.

When I voted ... every time ... I appeared in person, presented my valid state issued ID, and signed the roll. It was not offensive in the least.

If one can't figure out where they need to vote, what they need to be able to vote, and comply with the rules of the State in which they vote .... then they probably should not be voting based on their mental defects.
