favorite hobby site and why

LR is right for this part of the country but it's all very regional. I'm frequently in Minneapolis and TER is by far the best source there.

TER tries to be "high-level" but they piss me off sometimes because they can be so effete. I've lost three of my TER reviews because the ladies were "banned" due to supposed indiscretions.

Bottom line: Pick two (or more) boards that are pertinent where you hobby.

You have been in the hobby for 8+ years so it wouldn't be hard for you to figure out why that is.

there is a niche for all boards, like Dee, i am a member of many, not quiet 20. you have to look around, LOL. we started PlayersCastle to avoid the BS and drama that dominate many boards. if you just want to have fun, it's the place to be.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Naughtyreviews. It's a national board like TER. It's where I got my start in the hobby. I've been a member there for 3 yrs. It's fairly new in that sense, starting in 2008. It has nationa & local forums, with the regular share of drame & know-it-alls. It has reviews and provider listings & ads. But it seems to not be on many people's radar. Have many of you heard of/tried it? It's been my favorite. E.com was 2nd.

I like ECCIE because of the variety. I do wish the drama would drop a notch or two from time to time but you can't beat the information, reviews, and personalities....
