I would like this forum to have an international feel to it.

I'm still not convinced. If you read or listen to speeches as much as I like to, you pick up on patterns and accents.

Not claiming to have an eye or ear for Australian English, but I have my doubts.

For example I recently overheard a nice young couple speaking. First thought was Colombian. Sure enough, a few seconds later, the girl says something to the effect of "back in Colombia."

I am lucky in that I can pick up on many accents, or hints at an accent, from speech. Both Latin and Germanic based. I watch as much world Football as I can because I love the sport. With that, I have heard any number of English and Spanish commentary. My dominant.
