Ladies: Do you care about a thank you?

I guess I should update - based on the feedback from this thread I sent a lady I had just seen for the first time a thank you e-mail. She responded back quickly and from her response, I'm sure she appreciated the note - thanks to all who replied!

I always call or send a thank you note by text after the date, because I feel grateful ... My perception is that it has always been appreciated ...

Now, twice I HAVE RECEIVED a thank you note immediately from the lady saying something like: "Thank you for coming to see me ... I enjoyed it very much"

That made me feel flatered
