Biden has the authority granted by the Constitution to pardon anybody he pleases that is a defendant in a Federal Case.

This can be a double edge sword. If he refuses, he can be held in contempt, and if he lies, he can be charged with perjury, as both would be “new” crimes.

I didn't think Hunter was sentenced yet. Convicted but not yet sentenced. Everyone knew Biden would pardon Hunter and I certainly don't blame him. I would have done the same. Certainly this news must be fake. We were told by reliable sources that Biden would never pardon his son - that he respected the rule of law. We were told that Biden was the paragon of virtue with respect to the law, and quite unlike that convicted felon named Trump.
