Does anyone pay attention to the BIO PAGES?

I was perusing the Available Now section for Dallas a few nights ago, clicking on Bio Pages to learn more about some of the women advertising there, when I noticed one lady (kicking myself for not remembering who) had a field in her “The Basics” section that she included the specific city (in this case Mesquite) in which she was located. The field was simply titled “Location”.

I didn’t think much of it at the time, other than making sure I checked that section next time I was looking at Bio Pages. This morning I decided to check on some other ladies and saw that none of them had a similar field in that spot, but they all had Metro Location with at least the Dallas location noted. That obviously is what drives the bio page to show up under Dallas’ Available Now page.

Is this field one that all the ladies see can be completed, or did this one provider just luck into it? If it’s available for everyone, I’m curious why ladies who primarily work in one city don’t include that info there.

That looks consistent with what I was seeing. The Available Now indicator must expire after a certain amount of time. Hopefully someone with knowledge of how that works will speak up on the subject.

I do think the current behavior of separating Available Now from Online status is purposeful and appropriate. That’s the same as P411, only with that site the “timer” on Available Now appears to be shorter. Originally Posted by TinMan

P411 has a one hour limit on the available now page. You have to refresh every 60 minutes

Now that I look again I must have been confused as to where I saw the more-open “Location” item on the Bio Page. I thought I saw it within the lady’s “The Basics” section, but I must have been looking higher at the location field that appears under everyone’s avatar. I’m not sure why that particular provider’s location stuck out in my mind over a lot of others; perhaps I had just finished reviewing a bunch of bios that simply say “Dallas”.

If the edit window was still open on my last post I would delete the question. I guess for now I’ll settle for “never mind” in my best Gilda Radner voice.

Available now expires when the lady's time slot ends.

For example: She's available Monday from 10am until 2pm.
It will show green between those times.
Before and after her time slot the button will be red.

We're still working on preventing available now status to show if there are no time slots filled in.

When you say the Available Now “expires” when her time slot ends, does that mean she has to log on again and turn Available Now back on to show up on the list? Or is it always on during the time slots she previously set even if she doesn’t log on for days or even weeks (or ever again)?

In the 9pm hour on this Friday night there are 32 women showing as Available Now in the Metro Dallas area. That seems like a lot, but that may be just the “glitch” y’all are trying to fix with ladies who haven’t set their time slots yet, which looked like the majority of the Bio Pages I pulled off the list.

Adding on to last night’s post…

This morning in the 8am hour only 7 Dallas providers are showing as Available Now, all have time slots filled out on their Bio Pages. At least one shows last activity from March, which leads me to believe they don’t have to periodically “refresh” their Available Now status.

If I’m correct about that last point, I believe that needs to be addressed. If there is no ultimate expiration date or timer on Available Now, and it’s only governed by the schedule they set, a lady could leave the hobby or move to another city and still show as Available Now in Dallas if she hasn’t manually changed those settings.

To me it seems the lady should have to log back in and periodically refresh her available now status; otherwise we will see more and more ladies turn it on and forget about it (particularly if oh2 comes back and those ladies stop paying attention to this site), thereby cluttering up Available Now with ladies who may no longer be keeping to the schedule they set.
