The "real" sixx, it is not professional for another lady to not give a reference AND to call said client and TRY to get him to see her instead. For all she knows he very well may HAVE wanted to see her Thursday too.

IF she does NOT want to give references then SHE/any lady, needs to make that KNOWN to their clients and providers, so we don't bother asking!

Consider this ... every now and then I find that some provider's P411 page is temporarily unavailable. Invariably, when I contact P411 about this situation, I'm told it's because the provider failed to respond to a request from a client for a "Provider OK." There are probably many other reasons for a P411 page to be suspended, but that's the only one I've encountered.

Is a request for a reference from a provider all that different from a request for a P411 "Provider OK?" I don't think so, and apparently the management of P411 feels that ignoring such a request is worthy of sanction.

Because I mostly see providers who have a presence on P411, I can avoid asking anyone for references. They're already there in the form of a "Provider OK."

I have never been pressured by a provider to do anything but hurry up and write a review. The hobbyist can hang up the phone or tell her to fuck off he needs to. I sure hope some guy would not see Maci or anyone because of pressure.

And btw, the client is as sweet as pie.
I can see why she wants to keep him for herself but it is still NOT OK.

I won't defend it, I am GREAT with giving references, but I don't get overly concerned when ladies do NOT give references or ... even worse ... go behind my back and try to wrangle the appointment away from me.

If she feels that she needs to do that, it's her life and she's the one that has to look in the mirror.

I have a close friend in Dallas who just doesn't give references. A few years ago, I did ask her why and didn't really get an answer to speak of. We're still friends. Everyone is different.

It would be great if we were always just here for each other, etc. Rah rah sisterhood. Yeah, right. It's just not like that.

But it's not like that in the regular world, either. When I was involved with the non-profit sector with all female staffs, Jesus ... those women would eat their young!!! I don't see the viciousness here (well, most of the time!) that I've seen in the corporate world.

Of course ... I tend to surround myself with the really nice ladies! LOL.

Sorry you're so upset. But it's best to shake those feelings off and go forward. You'll sleep better!
