On your second statement: You either didn't read my comment correctly or you're simply trying to put words in my mouth. Where did I say that I felt that we were low life scum of the earth? I did not. I said "Society" sees US that way. I do not think that of myself or the people here. You said it yourself that there are bums and stars on this board - true! However, to those outside - you know as in the rest of the world? We're all bums and low life scum so one here can't really judge the other. We're all in this together.

Zarah, as always, you know how to light up even the most innocent of topics. Here are my thoughts about what you said.

Just wanted a more in depth conversation. I'm in a great mood. My intent here was not to start drama.

You used the phrase "classy hooker" in a demeaning way, which I assume applies to you as well, and I disagreed with you. I know more than a few ladies who are (1) hookers and (2) classy. It may sound silly, but if a hooker is classy, how else should she be described?

I take this to mean that we should not pay attention to the OP because she is just posting to promote herself? I guess that is true for all the ladies who post on this or any other board: it's just to drum up business. While that may be true, that doesn't mean we should discard content that is thoughtful and well-reasoned. Most of us can separate the wheat from the chaff.

I said I read escort posts as ads. It's one of the reasons why I post the way I do. Most say one thing here but feel the complete opposite way. I know this because I am a provider myself, have access to provider boards nationwide and associate with a lot of them. Saying everything that is posted here by a provider is a bit of a stretch but for the most part -- most of them are look at me threADs. I like this thread. I wouldn't call it a threAD. I feel the OP was genuine. BTW ask before assuming. It is not nice to put words in people's mouth ya know?

Absolutely true, but one of the basic tenets of the Hobby is that you don't get involved with the "real person". Your involvement is limited to the woman whose job is to promote the fantasy of romance and connection. Your worth as a "real" person means nothing go me as a monger except to the extent that it influences your professional persona and performance.

Of course if you have been with someone you kinda have an idea of what they're really like. Makes sense? Glad to know that as a monger you don't care much for the real person but the fantasy.

As I said, earlier, most of us can separate the wheat from the chaff and over time the "real" person can be discerned from the content of hooker advertising board posts. But, when that is all that we have to work with, we will make our judgments on the material that is available to us.

How many times have a well known, "respectful" hobbyist flipped out on an escort? Please check out the alert section and the blacklist boards. If that's not a good enough example, remember the well known, respectful, "reputable" provider that scammed a bunch of people out of money and was blacklisted? She was also worshipped, praised on the boards at a point until she did that. Fact of the matter is, true colors aren't shown on these boards. Anyone can be anyone here. Just because one posts on a board doesn't mean you know them / know their true character and to think you do only shows ignorance. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Wait... I thought providers already knew this though? Guess not.........

A great guy I know was posted on one of them. It was nationalblacklist though. I know an alert is legit when more than one person is saying the same thing. When the alerts are from one person it needs to be thoroughly investigated.

..........and btw those that are in the know of that particular situation know the truth.
