what are your feelings about cancelling appt???

John353 if you have been stood up that many times you might need to start reevaluating which providers you are trying to see.
How many ladies out there have had to cancel an appointment and then offered to re-schedule...and been told that you were REQUIRED to give the client a certain amount of additional time or a set amount of discounted rate in order to gain the privilege of being in his presence? Please.... Originally Posted by john353

That can also create some issues. What happens if the provider who takes deposits has to cancel? What if she all of a sudden has to leave the hobby? What if the hobbyist only has a certain window of time to see providers and their schedules cannot match.

Another issue with deposits is the fact that some providers are not good with money. What is provider A is coming to Austin for 3 days and ten appointments and is a 300 hr gal and requires a 100 dollar deposit. Let's say she has ten appointments with deposits. What if she has some "emergency" and spends that grand. Will there be the same level of service at 200 hr? What if that money helped pay for her hotel, car rental, etc and its spent before she even arrives. I think deposits makes things a little more tricky if you ask me.

especially if it's going to cost you money to travel. Originally Posted by Shayla

sixx, that sounds reaallly expensive.

Lynn, you've been out in Syracuse before?

On a separate note, providers, have you multi booked clients during the same time slots and have had to cancel that way, or just ignore the calls all together? I think as a hobbyist, the most frustrating thing is showing up at the parking lot, calling the provider a few times and not get an answer, only to have to drive back home feeling like crap.

I am an email only provider meaning I don't list my number anywhere for men to call me. They book me 24-48 hours in advance. The men I spend time with don't have to worry about my phone ringing off the hook. BTW a provider should always turn off her phone during an appointment.

Having said all that, I've never made a guy wait out in the parking lot. The time we agree on is the time he should be knocking on my door.
