Rates may be going up, I have seen it in a number of ladies I have been wanting to visit. A recent spike? I haven't noticed but I probably am not looking too hard either. Their reputation goes up, they deliver good service, their rates increase to allow them to be more exclusive. Seems to be common sense to me, Bigdog's theory of hookernomics not withstanding.

I would have to say the rates haven't changed, there are just more ladies now then ever before.
The ladies should charge whatever they can get, that is just smart business. If you can get more then get more, if you need more business charge less.
I have met lots of ladies on these boards over the years and the one thing I know is that most that are around for a while are really smart and have a very good business sense. They are smarter then most of us think.
I wanted to post 250/hour for me but I cant get verified provider status. Either that or I am just a cheap whore, (just kidding)

you have a point J.G. but i challenge anyone to tell us how any of these 'she charges too much' or 'why are rates going up' or 'she is not worth that much' threads have had ANY EFFECT at all on the market here in dallas. i'll be waiting for some definitive analysis from some guy that has way too much time on his hands.

It's all supply and demand. There are plenty of options out there, so keep looking till you find the p*ssy price point (PPP) that you are comfortable with.

These threads always end up with a bunch of guys trying to guess how a bunch of ladies have setup their business plan. Don't try.+1000
What you need to understand:
1. WALDT. We all like different things so there is a guy for just about any gal who might be out there. There is some guy out there right now who would pay big bucks to a 65 year old grandma who weighs 250 pounds to get naked and give him a BBBJ with her dentures out. Imagine the number of guys who will see that 30 year old who offers CFS, MSOG even though she is maybe a 5 out of 10 on the provider scale.
2. There are a lot of big spenders who will pay the big bucks to get a gal who isn't seeing 6-7 guys a day like that gal in the AMP does or that gal who advertises 15 minute rates on BP. With less visitors, that gal can provide the illusion of passion that the extra bucks are intended to reward.
3. There are gals who would rather see a bunch of guys a day and not have to provide the illusion of passion.
Take all of those gals, and all of the guys in the metroplex, stick them in a big bag (maybe Jerry's World would actually hold most of them), shake it up and pour it out. Now, sites like this and others help that mess of humanity sort out and find the perfect matches for each other.
Yes, higher price does not always equate to a better experience. Lot of examples of that here every day. But to be successful, a lady just needs to find that niche where her rates & her performance meet the market expectation to maximize her potential. As sum of the ladies here have suggested, her maximum potential may not just be in $$$ from guys who want to have sex with them. Their sweet spot may be a little sex, a lot of spare time, and a life outside of this crazy world.
Quit trying to tell the ladies where they need to be in the market. That is about as useful as Obama trying to tell me where to buy insurance, cellphones, and broccolli.

On this issue you are a 1000% on top of it. I laugh how many guys try to justify supply and demand. They leave out the variations in quality, appreance, and so many more things. The providers are all trying to support themselves or others in the manner they want to live. What the men that post a lot on ECCIE are not the majority of the men on this site. The majority don't even want to read most of their self serveing posts of the post whores. Then there are traveling business and professional people who come to Dallas/Ft Worth on business by themselves. Some read ECCIE but the majority of these use that other site that starts with T*R they have abigger following outside of Texas and many others like them. These guys think nothing of dropping $1500 for the evening, and there are lots of them, add in the local business men from here that don't post much that will drop $500 to a grand or more and the women that are smart don't need the business most of the ECCIE posters. I know of one local guy who dropped $7,000.00 one night on one lady!
Now that's nothing against the $150 to $250 providers, there is a market for them and that is where you find the major amount of managed girls. (NOT ALL ARE MANAGED) Many girls don't even want reviews because many of the guys embellish them so greatly it affects them. I read a remark by a notorious post hog "Do you guys believe everything these women tell you?" My response to that, the women by enlarge have a greater credabilty than the hobbyist.

I keep hearing everyone bash the BP girls, I have had some good experiences with them if I decide I want a quickie down and dirty. There are good ladies everywhere and their bad women everywhere. There are overpriced women and under priced woman. Its the perception of value when you think you have a good match. Don't blame the ladies if you can't afford her rates. Increase your income or be satified with the lower priced women.

I’ve kept my head out of this one and let it take its natural course. Maybe prices have not risen as much as once thought; I do believe that there are more providers asking for more in the $350 to $600 range recently with a minimum of 1.5 hours or longer “get to know each other first time visits”. It really does make good business sense, it is the same money as two, one hours sessions (which take a total time of three hours), it weeds out the clientele she is or is not looking for, and it is one or more less showers she will have to take in a day (being environmentally friendly). True some may not be able to afford the increase and will have to set their sights lower; some may have to hobby less and save for that extra week, and some it will have no effect on. My take on the current variety of providers, prices, and sessions is (this is a guess)
1. See fewer clients for the same income
2. Go more upscale and make more money (if the market will support it and/or you)
3. See fewer clients at a lower income but better quality of life and freedom
4. The provider has a satisfactory and stable client base, she doesn’t need newbie’s
5. Slowing down and rejoining the rat race or going back to school (it does happen)
6. The provider simply thinks her services are worth more the current average provider
I’m sure there are many reasons which I have not even touched on, unfortunately there is no way to know unless someone plays the $$$$$ game.
I recently and politely contacted a provider who asks for a donation of $600 for an hour session (limited reviews but great pictures), seems a bit high right worth an e-mail though. My question to you is do I/we have the right to ask what makes her/their services worth almost double of what the “upper end average” provider asks for a donation. Understand I was not looking for specifics per say (and that is not how the question was phrased, just a straight, polite, and simple question (I have 20 yeses on P411 and she did look at them prior to e-mailing me back). What I got in return was not pleasant, “I do not discuss my services, I am not a piece of meat, and it is not what you think I am worth, is it worth it to me to see you”. Granted, it was not the answer I was looking for or the question that I asked or intended to ask. I apologized to the lady and explained to her one sentence of how great of a provider she is, her rates reflect the low volume she desires, etc... I wasn’t asking if she gives BBFS, goes to Greece, allows 3000 SOG or can hang from the ceiling with just the suction power of her vagina. A simple well thought out benign answer with a hint of mystery would more than likely had me coughing up the six C-notes. So the second response from her in a nut shell is, “don’t even bother, I feel we would not get along anyway”, and she is right. Without a phone call (live voice) all I heard was a provider with a bad attitude. Maybe it was just a bad day, maybe wasn’t, I will never know. It’s not about the money; it is about how much enjoyment and pleasure we receive and was it worth it to us! Did we feel that we were taken care of, did we get what we paid for and were happy with it (I know, it’s not a product, YMMV). Recently a long time poster said to me, “they are not a commodity are human beings” another wise poster pointed out “correct they are human beings but do they look at us as a commodity? I do understand and agree with both sides of this debate.
