I did not participate in ASPD, Ever!, although a member for many years. When I first joined this site it was very tame by comparison, in fact inviting. I have been a contributing member here for years. Up until the "Keyboard Warriors" and "Bro's Before Ho's" mentality took over the boards.

The "Attack Pack", which I am credit for heading and never actually existed in any organized fashion, and my participation in coEd Threads started towards the last few months of ASPD and migrated here to ECCIE to take back the forums from a group of people that sought on many levels to control what was allowed and WHO was allowed to say what in Austin. It started on ASPD with a Regime change where people like myself were not censured for voicing an opinion and we were welcomed in Austin. Anyone that shared my opinion was immediately labeled a member of the Attack Pack. Some of the guys I know and consider friends. Several I have never met. It seems that ANY poster with a negative opinion of a lady or a ladies business practice was labeled.

The principals that we all shared and wanted to see change came about in the first year of the migration from ASPD to ECCIE and most of those posters have little to say these days.

As those personalities faded away the boards continued to change. In this last 8 months to a year I have INTENTIONALLY limited my participation as well as exerted some influence over a couple of individuals to tame their role in what was going on.

At NO TIME in those first couple of years though did we see or experience the problems that exist now.

Some have taken some of that and gone to extremes..... Bros before Hos? Sure.. .unless someone is dissing a Ho I happen to respect or care about..... I have a lot of respect for Reya Sunshine and posted quite a bit to reign in what was going on negative around her.

There area lot of ladies that I care about that are or have been a member of this community. They all know they can count on me for a lot.

As Whispers stated above - thread hijacks, inflexible opinions causing verbal accusations, outing personal information, pissing contests, and negativity that is never ending --> DRAMA!!!! Alisha mentioned searching 30 or more threads seeking out one that cannot/would not be "Controversial" and a participation may be "Accepted " without retaliation from another member... I also have not found a thread where participation would be considered contributing. I won't consider choosing sides as this thread develops, as will typically happen it will be de-railed by single minded self centered individuals who cannot think past their own little worlds.

Alisha, If I am incorrect in my recall f where I have discussed certain practices than please accept my apology. It is no secret that the locker room content is easily and readily available to anyone that wants to read it without a subscription.

The "hostility" that existed under what many say was my influence was rather focused towards the topics presented in my original reply. You could search my CoEd posts and find where I participated in many other threads that had no controversy of any kind now.

Lately though, CoEd has become a place to carry out Personal vendetta's between a few people. It is all over the place.

Some are convinced that a handful of people including a pimp and a couple of ladies are behind some of the handles as well as the outings that occurred.

And of course there are a couple of week minded ones that have lost their ability to post that see fit to recreate themselves over and over.

There are only a couple of people who over the years have lost any respect I had for them as individuals that have experienced and personal attacks of any nature from me.

You claim to have never received any points.

I have 2 points at the moment and have never had more than 9. I never accumulated ANY points on ASPD although I was BANNED from the Austin Forums over 5 years ago for 30 days for a comment that would be allowed in any other city forum in the country. That "regime" lost it's control on the boards eventually. My point here is that although I have always been a rather outspoken poster, I have, for the most part, always played within the rules of the board.

The current crop of posters causing hell lare doing so from fake accounts, being banned, having to recreate themselves etc....

It is interesting that a few people feel justified to come into this thread and express their distaste for what is going on and blame me.

Yet I have had little to say in many months and find the current environment rather distasteful myself.

I find it humerus that none of the dissenters here feel the need though to speak up and seek out a way to deal with those that are currently creating the havoc.

You can find countless numbers of debates between myself and others, including ladies, here in Austin CoEd or in the ASPD archives over the years where we carried on very civilized conversations and agreed to disagree just as you and I are doing.

It is women and men alike that lack the ability to express themselves as adults or give the written word on a SHMB the power to enrage them that are the fault of the issues both you and I find distasteful.

And lest someone take this the wrong way, we all forgive a multitude of spelling sins on this site. We all forgive a multitude of holier than thou attitudes. We all forgive a multitude of unorganized, rambling posts.
