I had a client come in one day and after looking at my arms and legs he said he was leaving. When I asked why he told me that my pictures were deceiving and photo shopped because they didn't show my tattoos. He went on to tell me that I should be ashamed of myself for not disclosing that to clients ahead of time.
After I explained that the "tattoos" were henna and would wear off in about 5 more days, he felt pretty awkward. Paid for his session, apologized and left. He did come back a couple of months later and has been a great client ever since
Now he likes having a massage when I'm up to my elbows in peacocks, flowers and paisley.
I guess when it comes to tattoos, I have the best of both worlds. I can cover my skin in art when the mood strikes me or (aside from one tiny inked tattoo) just leave it a clean slate. Mind you, I only put them on my arms, hands, feet and legs.
