Seems to me like SO Tx is gaining momentum again. It got deserted for a while and several people that left are slowly coming back. In addition our friend Pepper has been spicing up things a little bit!

I miss the old banter as well. It just seems that the more you get to know people, the scarrier it is to post. I've learned my lesson the hard way. I miss the days when I was naive to what is truly lurking in the shadows. In fact, I rarely (if ever) post in Houston anymore and that's my hometown!

I try to post flirtatious banter occasionally, but Mr. Smith always gets his knickers in a knot. Even now his butt is puckering becuase he's not sure if he should take this as a compliment. I love messing with him though. I'm sure Gato and RJ will attest that it is fun to pick on Mr. Smith (thanks for being such a good sport).

I tend to post more on the national forums because I like to be ignored by a bigger audience.

While a livelier local forum would be nice, I doubt it will have an effect on visiting providers. Visiting providers need to make enough to cover expenses (including appointments lost during travel) and go home with some cash. They can break even at home without the hassle of travel.

Changing our reputation as cheapasses, NCNSers, and last-minute cancelers will do more to help than local discussions. In terms of the last two, ladies, pay attention to who pre-books and who is first to make an appointment. As a traveling woman myself if Their is NO ACTIVITY ON THE BOARD no help with simple questions not even response then we tend to be more cautious. Especially the women who ONLY ADVERTISE On the board.
