Congratulations, Adam Scott.

It is stupid to not watch golf because Tiger is in it. It is just as stupid to not watch golf because Tiger is not in it.

I thought it was great when Bubba Watson won it last year, too. Even if Tiger was nowhere to be found.
You obviously don't know what is going on in golf.......................... .Tiger gets special treatment on and off the course....and rule violations is not the exception................

......But EVERYBODY is playing under the new rules so there is nothing unfair about it. Originally Posted by ExNYer

The top players in EVERY sport get shown favoritism - even when it comes to foul calls in basketball and hockey.

Michael Jordan and many other top players were protected from rough play more than journeymen were and the 3-step rule for traveling was merely a suggestion when he was driving for a slam dunk.

Wayne Gretsky also got protected from rough checks that would have been treated as hard but clean hits if they were made on most any other player.

That's reality. It has nothing to do with race.

But there is nothing about this particular ruling that indicated favoritism. They assessed a two-stroke penalty. But you seem to be convinced that the ONLY acceptable penalty is disqualification - despite the fact that the rules were relaxed for the specific purpose of NOT having so many DQs.
Actually there is alot about this ruling that screams favoritism.................... ..

And many golf analyst/commentators agree......................... .

btw, I never said racism was involved...I only asked the question..........and I never said the only acceptable penalty is disqualification.....and there are very few DQ issued in the PGA tour.

It begs the question why you get so many of your assumptions wrong?

The Masters ruling committee made multiple errors in this issue; all worked to the benefit of Tiger; there is a bias (by the PGA) to Tiger's favor on the PGA tour..you can deny it, but it is well documented.
Trendaway seems to be one of, if not the only, poster left who still clings to his distorted version of professional golf's rules as it relates to the 2 shot penalty assessed to Tiger. Facts be damned he will not change his mind.

I am beginning to believe that Trendy is a train wreck waiting to occur!

And many golf analyst/commentators agree... Name ONE that said race had anything to do with it.

I don't know why you just don't say just you mean, and stand by your words. If it's bullshit, you'll get called on it just like every other asshole in here.

Don't be such a drama queen every time someone questions your conspiracy drivel.

Remember who brought it up.

Or would you prefer we show FAVORITSM?

Ah, one of our self-appointed experts and self-styled curmudgeon (I prefer "asshole," but that's just me) STRIKES AGAIN!!!

Heh, he's wrong on the premise to the OP, wrong on the meaning of the rule and wrong on the "bigness" of the story. Sure, all of the announcers as well as ESPN were pimping it in hopes of turning it into something other than what Eldrick his ownself put to rest with his tweet early Saturday morning. They shined a light in a dark corner and revealed.....a corner.

Perhaps the bigger news is Adam Scott's penchant for the pelvic thrust when winning. He did it on the 72nd hole when he drained the long putt for birdie and again when he won on the second hold of the playoff. Must be an Aussie thang.

Oh well, 0 fer 3 is PAR on Trendy's course, of course.
