Cowboys are in Training Camp

And BTW Cap, that is a lineup of some BMF's you mention there. Originally Posted by rjdiner

I think it will be a high scoring game but the Saints can put up more points and have a better qb. The Cowboys defense will look like Swiss cheese . Originally Posted by Mr. Smith111

That was a hideous display last night.

Yea at the end of the third quarter I went to bed. Had ridden the Harley 779 miles in the previous 3 days and my ass was tired. Could not see it worth fighting sleep.

I said from the word go that switching back to the 4-3 was not a good idea. last night they said that Dallas had given up more yards in 10 games than any team in history. I am sure that Rob Ryan had a big smile on his face after that Brazilian Wax Job the Saints did on his old team.

It doesn't seem to matter what coaches you bring in on offense or defense, the outcome is predictable. The one constant is ownership and GM, and whatever it is that he does, or doesn't do every year seems to bring on the same results. I've been watching them my whole life, and will continue to do so, painful as it may be.

Well, the boys maintain a slight lead in the NFC East and Romo made another 4th quarter game winning drive. They are 6 & 5 for the year, and what's really funny is they are 134 & 133 since the 1997 season. Yes, a winning record, but just barely. This team is the poster child for mediocrity.
They have a great chance to finish with a winning record and advance to the playoffs and step up to the next level.
Being the well trained Cowboys fan that I am, yesterday I just kept waiting for them to blow it, but I wound up pleasantly surprised.

And to get a little off topic, that Tom Brady comeback last night was historic. He sure doesn't play like a 6th round draft pick.

Hey, 7 and 5,, Romo hasn't made a major screw up in a while and the running game looked pretty good. The defense was better than they have been, but still not where they should be.
Of the 5 remaining games the Cowboys are good enough to win out, but I don't see that happening. We could be looking at a respectable 10 and 6 finish.

That was the worst defensive performance I have ever seen. They didn't get beat on a bunch of turnovers or big plays, they just allowed the Bears to run all over them play after play. It's December, here we go.

Guess we all qualify a bit as being insane to keep watching them each week. I mean, the definition of insane is,

"Keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results."

What do we do, watch every game and expecting different results.

I rest my case.
