Steelers 2024 thread

He's a blind squirrel who occasionally finds a nut. When he's wrong (like 75% of the time), he never addresses it, just moves on to the next (probable) farce. He's a douchey hater who would have been fired from any other job a long time ago. Luckily for him, there is zero accountability in his line of work. Originally Posted by tommy156

HO, HO, HO, FOUR IN A ROW!

So.

Is COTY still a possibility for mad Mike?

And, if there was EVER a doubt this fucking PUTZ didn't know himself, it was his quote at the end of the first half.

"If we can't gain a yard, we don't deserve to win."

Not one, not two, but THREE ATTEMPTS to gain LESS THAN A YARD, including a fourth down in home territory to let Cincy score a field goal in the last seconds of the half.

Honestly, the very worst I think I have ever seen a former Steeler team look, if not by points, but psychologically.

And a final point, the look in Tomlins eyes during the last minute of the 2nd half were those of someone with no answers left, he had no idea what to do at that point, and I've seen his look on the faces of other players I've faced during football and other sports, Hell, on the face of hunted animals, including humans.

It was fear.

FEAR!

Not a fear of death, in his case, but the abject understanding there is nothing you can do as a human, to change the bad situation you are in.

So much for that.

On the bright side, they won SB XL in 2005 coming in as a wildcard. Difference is they peaked in the last 4 regular season games, not collapsed, even pummeled somebody 50-0 or something like that.
The loss definitely wasn’t the offensive coordinator fault it was the QB and the great spokesman and team leader Pickens.

No way anyone can backup this team is better with Wilson over Pickett.

... Kinda agree with Tommy here.
Pickett is more of a bench player than a starter.

But Tomlin does deserve some fault with the loss.
Our lads surely seem over-matched with evey week.
Maybe they can beat the Texans - but how will they fare again
against the Ravens?? ...
