Really, you shouldn't call out one political party on this one. Both sides are equally culpable.

It both amazes and saddens me how quickly a bunch of reasonable, educated men can turn into complete mad, raving troglodytes when politics come into the conversation. It is sad, really-- it would be great to be able to have real political discourse-- but this site is the same as just about every other site-- both sides so convinced of their superiority that there is no middle ground for discussion.
