If you're hoping for decriminalization as a solution to this i think youre goig to be disappointed. If anything, you might see a Nevada style legalization, but that comes with regulation, and a controlled workplace. And it hasnt worked.... its generally acknowledged that Vegas lets things happen because their guests want it, and it keeps them on the strip instead of travelling out to the middle of the desert to visit a legal brothel. But there are very few places that would be willing to take that sort of stance.
On the bright side...it may take a year, it may take five...
When decrim happens there will be little room for y'all...because we can then, legally, educate the younger ones (younger to the business...not actual age) and teach them how NOT to end up with clients who don't like whores.

Alas, they're all much more relaxed about free will than America is. Originally Posted by sexymaid_69

So Gabs, looks like Vegas might be in your future. Then again they dont have pretty little colored squares or vouches when youre picking guys up in Casinos, do they? I've picked up quite a few guys in Vegas casinos. Always legally/civi. I worked with a gal at the Bunny Ranch who was a regular at casino bars. She did quite well. Sadly at that time you needed a pimp for protection.
Amazing what the internet has provided...safety in the world's most unsafe profession.
Keep up the good fight y'all.
I no longer have time for you half dozen or so trolls. My 3 month vacay has come to an end. It's been real. It's been fun. I enjoyed many (bet ya thought I was gonna say it's been real fun, yeah? lol) buh-bye Originally Posted by Gabrielle

Gabby, if you come back and are looking for a serious convo instead of flame baiting I'd be interested in some clarification on a point you made and it's definitely safety related. Most hookers around Pgh die due to their own poor lifestyle choices, IJS.
How are you defining "unsafe" to determine that providing is the "most unsafe position in the world" above?
What metrics are being used?
What professions are you comparing it to?
Not an attempt to belittle hookers, or other sex workers. I'm just trying to get a baseline for the claim.
Don't reply back with "Google it" because I have and have found a variety of data, including rates that claim football players and professional wrestlers reported rates of death and injury dwarf most others. That's nationally, but also controversial because of how those studies were run.
I have seen some claims that Indonesian sulfur mining has rates that blow those numbers out of the water.
I have heard the sex worker is 400x more likely to murdered stat many times. I have seen the 40x higher rate of violence in the US vs. UK stat.
What I'm interested in is the logic and how it's being applied if you were legitimately interested in a convo about safety. Originally Posted by Atomic Hamster
