To address the original post, my opinion is that, as hobbyists, we are all a little nuts to begin with. But, age old prejudices have followed us around for many generations. Shedding the ignorance through education and cultural experience will gradually succeed as our world becomes smaller. Making ignorant demands on providers is not only wrong, but self defeating.

Not only in America, the world, and it's many cultures are full of prejudices, race, religion, politics; it goes on and on, and will continue as long as close minded ignorance exists.

People are free to make choices of who they want to be with. Those choices are to be respected. That mutual respect is why freedom works.
