I imagine people try to haggle on price in every type of business. I get jail mail from inmates who've heard of me and try to lowball my regular rates. I throw the mail away. 95% of providers either want me to drastically discount my fee (which I may do for a legit provider) or fuck me for the fee (which I'd NEVER do). I certainly don't get angry when any of this haggling takes place and post on one of the lawyer boards. I'm a professional and, more important, I'm an adult. I just say no, then get back to providing good service to the clients who pay me what I think I deserve to be paid. Originally Posted by ShysterJon

Did not happen at my closing but the seller's wife did not want to move ... until the realtor told her how much it was likely to cost by backing out now.
