I imagine people try to haggle on price in every type of business. I get jail mail from inmates who've heard of me and try to lowball my regular rates. I throw the mail away. 95% of providers either want me to drastically discount my fee (which I may do for a legit provider) or fuck me for the fee (which I'd NEVER do). I certainly don't get angry when any of this haggling takes place and post on one of the lawyer boards. I'm a professional and, more important, I'm an adult. I just say no, then get back to providing good service to the clients who pay me what I think I deserve to be paid.
